The Women's Defender HF is one of the most convincing specialist women's vests in the range. Ride Engine hasn't simply resized the men's model: the fit is specifically optimised for women while retaining the Defender's excellent internal impact-shell protection in high-risk areas. The 4-way-stretch neoprene keeps it mobile, the padding works cleanly with a harness and its 50N buoyancy adds another useful layer of reassurance. For female foilers, this would be one of our first choices.
