Returns & Exchanges

Changed your mind? No problem. We want you to be happy with your new gear.

If something isn't right, contact us and we'll help you arrange a return or exchange.

Changed Your Mind?

For online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without needing to give a reason.

Once you've told us you'd like to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

We also voluntarily extend our returns period to 30 days from delivery for eligible unused products, giving you a little more time to decide.

Items returned under our extended returns policy must be in a condition suitable for resale, with their original packaging, tags, documentation and accessories where applicable.

Your statutory rights are not affected by our extended returns policy.

How to Make a Return

Email grant@wakeshop.co.uk with “Return” in the subject line and include:

  1. Your order number
  2. The item(s) you'd like to return
  3. The reason for the return — this is helpful to us, but isn't required when exercising your statutory right to cancel.

We'll reply with the return instructions and return address.

Please package the products securely. We strongly recommend using a tracked and adequately insured delivery service, particularly for high-value items such as wakeboards.

Return Shipping Costs

If you're returning an item because you've changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning it to Wakeshop.

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before returning it so we can arrange the appropriate solution.

Refunds

Once your return has been received, we'll inspect it and process any refund due.

Where the statutory right to cancel applies, refunds will be made within the legally required timeframe and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods, or evidence that they have been sent back where applicable.

Refunds will normally be made to your original payment method.

If you paid for standard delivery when placing your order and cancel the whole eligible order under your statutory cancellation rights, we'll also refund the standard outbound delivery charge. If you selected a more expensive delivery service, any additional amount above our standard delivery charge is not refundable.

Product Condition

You're welcome to inspect an item as you reasonably would in a shop.

If a product has been handled beyond what's reasonably necessary to inspect it and its value has been reduced, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund as permitted by law.

Please don't ride or use wakeboards, wakeskates, bindings or other equipment if you think you may want to return them.

Exchanges

Need a different size or want to swap to another product?

The simplest option is normally to return the original item and place a new order for the replacement. This avoids your preferred size or product selling out while the original is on its way back to us.

Contact us if you're unsure and we'll help.

Faulty Products

All products sold by Wakeshop must meet your statutory consumer rights, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. These rights are separate from any manufacturer's warranty.

If you believe you've received a faulty product, email grant@wakeshop.co.uk with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • Clear photographs or video showing the issue where possible

We'll review the problem and advise you on the next step.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may include a refund, repair or replacement.

Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by Wakeshop also carry a manufacturer's warranty.

If you experience a problem that you believe may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty, contact us and we'll help you with the claim.

Warranty decisions may involve inspection by the manufacturer and will depend on the product, fault and circumstances.

A manufacturer's warranty is additional to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.

Wakeboards, Rails & Features

Wakeboards and wakeskates used on rails, sliders, kickers or other park features are exposed to significantly greater wear than normal riding.

Damage caused by impacts, obstacles, misuse, normal wear and tear or other non-manufacturing causes may not constitute a manufacturing defect and may not be covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

However, using a product for an advertised or intended purpose does not remove your statutory rights if the product itself is faulty.

Custom & Special-Order Products

Some personalised, custom-made or specially manufactured products may not qualify for change-of-mind cancellation rights.

If this applies to a product, we'll make this clear before you purchase it.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet your statutory rights.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or we've sent you the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible at grant@wakeshop.co.uk.

Include your order number and photographs of the product and packaging where appropriate.

Please keep the original packaging while we investigate the issue.

We'll work with you to put things right.

International Returns

International customers should contact us before sending a return so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Unless the item is faulty, incorrect or otherwise covered by your statutory rights, return postage and any associated international shipping costs are normally the customer's responsibility.
