Rather than chasing an ultra-minimal competition feel, it combines 50N ISO-certified buoyancy with soft neoprene, split foam panels, passenger handles, useful pockets, breathable mesh back panels and an internal waist-support system. It's particularly convincing for PWC use, where those additional features make far more sense than simply choosing the lightest possible vest.
