The Surge is exactly what we'd want from a young rider's first boat board. It's predictable, confidence-inspiring and designed to work properly at the slower speeds kids typically ride. The fin setup provides plenty of tracking while they're learning to control the board, while the subtle 3-stage rocker gives enough lift from the wake to make progression into small jumps genuinely rewarding. For a young rider starting their wakeboarding journey behind the boat, the Surge is an excellent place to begin.
