The Intent is an absolute weapon behind the boat. It's fast, incredibly responsive and produces the kind of explosive vertical pop that rewards riders who attack the wake properly. Put it on edge and it feels locked in and precise, yet when ridden flat it becomes noticeably looser and more lively. The impressive part is that O'Brien has managed to combine all that aggression with a centre spine and beveled edge profile that take some of the punishment out of harder landings. If you're an experienced rider looking for a board that encourages you to ride harder and go bigger, the Intent is one of the strongest boat boards in our range.
