WAKESHOP VERDICT
Our take.
The O'Brien Access is a really strong progression binding. It keeps the forgiving fit and versatility of an open-toe boot, but the integrated Strobel-lasted liner, internal J-bars and dual-zone lacing give it a noticeably more secure and controlled feel than a basic entry-level binding. The 3D-contoured EVA footbed and canted chassis add plenty of comfort for longer sessions, while the flexible rear cuff keeps it forgiving enough for riders still developing their technique. If you've moved beyond simply getting up and want an open-toe binding with room to progress, the Access makes a lot of sense.

WHY WE STOCK IT
Why it earned a place at WakeShop.
We stock the Access because it gives progressing riders a useful step up without forcing them into a size-specific closed-toe binding. It combines broad sizing and easy open-toe usability with better heel retention, more precise adjustment and a more supportive liner, making it a great all-round option for recreational and progressing riders.
