The Impulse is exactly the sort of cable board we'd recommend to someone moving beyond rental equipment and wanting their first proper park setup. It's forgiving, predictable and easy to control, with a smooth continuous rocker that makes carving feel natural and enough flex to start exploring presses and features with confidence. The concave base and beveled rail help take some of the punishment out of landings and reduce the intimidation of learning obstacles. It isn't the most explosive or aggressive board in the park, but that's precisely why it works so well for beginner and intermediate riders who want progression rather than punishment.
